Senanga Town Council is participating in a specialised website content management and cybersecurity training being conducted by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in Chongwe.

The training has brought together Systems Analysts, Programmers and Public Relations Officers from Western, Southern, Eastern and Lusaka Provinces in the first phase of the programme. Senanga is represented as the council continues to prioritise improved online service delivery, digital security and enhanced public communication.

During an engaging session held yesterday, Ministry IT Director, Ms. Judy Beene, shared key insights on effective website content management, stressing the importance of district websites as tools for marketing local economic opportunities, showcasing development initiatives and providing communities with timely information.

Through this initiative, Senanga Town Council is building important capacity in cybersecurity and website administration. This will ensure a secure, informative and vibrant digital platform that supports transparency and community engagement, while promoting Senanga as a district of growing investment and development potential.

The training in Chongwe continues with practical sessions designed to equip local authority officers with modern digital skills. Senanga Town Council remains committed to leveraging this knowledge to strengthen its communication systems and contribute effectively to the national digital governance agenda.
