Senanga Town Council has successfully procured Basic Medical equipment for three maternity annexes constructed under the 2022 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The maternity annexes are located in Mata, Sibukali, and Mwanamwalye.
The Equipment has been procured at a total cost of Eight Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand, Two Hundred Ninety-Three Kwacha Fifty-Nine Ngwee (K896,293.59).
Some procured items include delivery beds, cabinets, gynaecological couches, instrument cabinets, hospital beds with mattresses, infant cots with mattresses, autoclaves, and dressing trolleys, among other essential medical tools.
The said equipment is now ready to be delivered to the respective maternity annexes to ensure operational readiness and enhanced maternal healthcare services in the identified areas.
Senanga Town Council remains committed to improving access to quality healthcare services through the effective and transparent utilization of the Constituency Development Fund.
